Aird Island
Off the Grid Lodge on an Island
Aird Island floats between two of the Great Lakes: Georgian Bay and Lake Huron. The small island has been the grounds for a hunting club and various camps over the past decades, several cabins and a lodge still remain. The mandate is to rebuild the ageing infrastructure of the island for year round occupation and long-term use, divided into three phases following a master plan:
